Albion Highland Park, our 161-unit asset in Highland Park, IL, exceeded our absorption and rent projection, so when we had an opportunity to purchase the vacant Saks Fifth Avenue across the street to develop a “Phase II” we did not hesitate. This asset will be 89 units that will include 3 ground floor townhomes and will compliment “Phase I” via amenities and economies of scale. Construction started in November of 2021 with the demolition of the vacant Saks Fifth Avenue building. Delivery of all 89 units is scheduled for Spring of 2023.
